Rental Agreement
These rental guidelines describe collection, equipment care and returns. The team confirms availability, the final quote and any deposit before accepting a reservation. Keep the confirmed quote and handover record for your rental.
Equipment Protection and Liability
Any applicable damage waiver and its exclusions must be confirmed in writing with your rental quote. A waiver is not a full insurance policy. Ask the team about responsibility for loss, theft or accidental damage before accepting the rental.
-
•
Total Loss or Theft
The Lessee is liable for the current market replacement cost of the equipment.
-
•
Irreparable Damage
This includes saltwater exposure, internal sensor damage due to negligence, or catastrophic impact.
-
•
Unauthorized Repair
Any attempt to disassemble or repair the equipment by a third party will void the waiver and result in additional service fees.
Precision Gear
Check the body, lenses and accessories together before collection.
Verification and Security Procedures
To maintain a secure rental environment, Power House Optics requires a mandatory identification check. Lessees must present a valid National Identity Card (NIC) or a government-issued Passport at the time of equipment collection. We reserve the right to request a refundable security deposit based on the value of the equipment and the duration of the rental. This deposit will be returned in full upon the successful inspection of the returned gear.
Rental Periods and Logistics
Agree your collection date, time and location with the team before your rental starts.
Return the equipment and all listed accessories at the time and location on your confirmed quote.
If you expect a delay, contact the team as early as possible. Extensions require approval; any additional charge must be confirmed.

Operational Responsibility
Upon the transfer of equipment, the Lessee assumes all responsibility for its safe operation. Power House Optics provides meticulously maintained hardware (e.g., Nikon D3400 series, Telephoto optics, and high-speed storage), but we are not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or project delays resulting from the use of our equipment.
It is the Lessee’s responsibility to verify the technical functionality of the gear during the hand-over process.
Reservation and Payment
Submitting a rental request sends the details you provide to Power House Optics, but does not reserve equipment or create a confirmed booking. A booking is accepted only after the team confirms availability and the agreed rental terms. Payment method and timing are confirmed directly.
